You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. I am sure that we’ve all heard that expression before in our lives. This “dog” was a little nervous about taking on the task of putting the town’s newsletter online, but I felt passionate enough about doing something that I knew I needed to put my fears aside. With incredible coaching from the person who designed this website I am proud to welcome you back to The Westmorelander.

The look is new, but what’s inside should look familiar. Our hope is to keep our neighbors informed in a way that is responsible and effective. The articles that will be posted will feature the dynamics of our town ranging from local artisans to what is going on at our school. We hope that you find the calendar a useful tool in helping you manage the events in our community. The links that are included are a way to couple other efforts in town rather than overshadow them.
